Inner Attunement Retreat

May 1 - 5, 2026

Re-connect with your purpose through nature-immersed restoration in Menorcan wilderness.

The Invitation

Amidst these tumultuous and heart-breaking times, you feel something inside shift. Maybe it begins as a faint whisper or a tug at the heart and grows clearer: the call to re-connect with your inner truth and purpose.

This retreat is an invitation to those who have scaled summits of external success, but still search for internal alignment. It is an experiential training in attunement to who we really are: our unique gifts, core values, and visions for a more beautiful world.

Over 5 days and 4 nights on the soulful Spanish island of Menorca, we cultivate powerful tools to reconnect with our original compass. Anchored by the silence, slowness and natural wonder of this astoundingly well-preserved UNESCO coastal biosphere, and guided by the intelligence of neuroscience and contemplative tradition alike, we engage ‘inner’ and ‘outer’ nature — body, breath, senses and spectacular landscapes — to gain access to our intuition and bravely approach the big questions.

Each morning begins with quiet reflection, journaling and a mindful ‘0 km’ breakfast of local products. We then embark on a silent hike exploring an awe-inspiring stretch of Menorcan coastline, complete with a nature-immersed meditation. Afternoons offer spacious time to connect over lunch, relax solo, or engage in deeper work (or better yet, play) through attunement workshops that employ aromas, language, and inner anthropology. In the early evenings, we downshift our rhythm with restorative yoga and yoga nidra, a guided sleep practice renowned for its rejuvenating benefits. Each day ends with a beautiful al fresco dinner prepared by a private chef, filled with deep community and unforgettable conversations.

Our retreat takes place at a lovingly restored, 19th century private villa in Menorca’s northeast territory, surrounded by wild olive trees and the most diverse and pristine calas (coves) on the island. Passionately curated by local stewards, this stunning property offers cozy interiors with artisanal touches and serene outdoor spaces overlooking medicinal herb fields and panoramic vistas.

FAQ

  • What airport do I fly into? Participants will fly into Mahón / Menorca Airport (MAH). There are direct flights from most major European cities in May, and hourly connecting flights from Barcelona on Vueling Airlines.

For those commuting from the U.S., there are no direct flights, but you may connect through Madrid, Barcelona or another European city via British Airways, Iberia, American and other airlines. Please note minimum connection times (2-3 hours), particularly if you must pass through bag check, security and immigration. It’s highly suggested to extend your trip to take your time, adjust to the time zone and fully explore Spain or other parts of Menorca.

Where is the retreat and how do I get to the venue? Venue and destination details are provided upon sign up or inquiry through contact form. A typical taxi to the venue costs 25 to 30€ and takes about 20 minutes. If desired, participants may share their flight and contact details with the group to make carpooling easy.

Should I rent a car? A rental car is not necessary for the retreat program, but those desiring maximum flexibility during afternoons and comfortable with driving Menorca’s occasionally narrow or winding roads are welcome to book their own transportation for the week. Taxis can be booked, and most destinations are close (Mahón, the capital city, is a 10-15 minute drive).

What time should I arrive / depart? Check-in time for our venue begins at 3 PM on arrival day, Friday, May 1. Our program will start with a welcome gathering and restorative practice around 6 PM in the early evening, followed by a group dinner around 7:30 PM. We’ll confirm exact timing closer to the retreat and do our best to accommodate all flight arrivals.

Departure is after breakfast on Tuesday, May 5, with checkout available until about 11 AM. Please give yourself at least 1.5 hours before take-off to check in for your flight. The staff can help with arranging taxis for departure.

  • What fitness or experience level do I need for the hiking and meditation? Hikes will be tailored to the fitness and experience level of the group, but typically may range 1 - 2.5 hours of walking and light to moderate elevation changes (50 to 150m). All yoga and meditation sessions are open-level and beginner friendly. Let Grace know if you have injuries, medical restrictions or personal concerns so you can be accommodated.

Are sessions or activities mandatory? No. All sessions are optional; please go at your own pace and in line with your own needs.

What does a typical day look like? Please refer to the description and schedule above. Note that the schedule may shift depending on weather or other considerations.

Is there free time? Yes. Slow mornings and the option to take a few hours of mid-afternoon solo time are built into the retreat schedule to encourage rest, reflection and a sense of spaciousness.

Is this a silent retreat? Partly. Silence will be encouraged but not strictly enforced during the mornings as we move & meditate, journal, mindfully enjoy breakfast and walk & practice amidst spectacular landscapes. The intention is to make internal space for presence, intuition and noticing—and give participants the opportunity to experience differently. Please use respectful volumes and be discreet if you do choose to have conversation.

What about phones/devices? Is there WIFI or cell service? As with silence, there are no strict rules, but rather a strong recommendation to disconnect and enjoy the tranquility and nature-richness of Menorca as much as you can during this special time. There is cell connectivity and WIFI on site, but note that some hikes may take us briefly out of cell range.

  • What should I pack? You’ll receive a full packing list, but generally: light layers, trail runners or hiking shoes, swimsuit, sun protection, a large reusable water bottle (1-1.5L), and a spring coat/jacket (e.g. soft shell or light puffer) and sweater for AM and PM. Spring wind and rain-resistant gear are recommended to bring as well. Please be prepared for ample outdoor time. The venue is a full-service boutique hotel providing all the usual amenities.

What’s the weather like in May? Early May in Menorca is delightfully mild — perfect hiking weather — with brisk mornings and evenings during which you’ll want to put on an extra layer. Afternoons may bring summery levels of sun, but wind and rain are not impossible during spring season. We’ll advise closer to arrival and adjust any plans or packing recs as needed.

Is it warm enough to swim in May? While the water is still cool, there are often pockets of afternoon sun warm enough for a refreshing dip. Bring your suit and see for yourself!

Do I need cash? 80 - 100 EUR in cash form is recommended for the rare occasions when card or contactless payment is not available (taxis to areas with poor connectivity, market stalls, etc.) In most other circumstances, credit cards (Visa & Mastercard especially) & digital payments are broadly accepted in Spain and Menorca.

  • What meals are included? Bountiful, healthy and locally sourced breakfast, lunch and dinner plus light snacks, coffee/tea and filtered water are all included.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions? The venue can accommodate most dietary restrictions and allergies; these must be notified early to confirm with the chef. Please indicate your needs upon deposit / registration.

Is alcohol included? Alcoholic beverages are generally not included as part of this retreat but are available for purchase on-site and at external venues. Wine—a key feature of Spanish and Menorcan gastronomy and culture—may be included in certain activities or workshops, for example, guided tastings. Please be mindful, safe and accountable when it comes to drinking.

  • Is travel insurance required? Yes. All participants must have travel medical insurance (or equivalent coverage) that includes emergency care abroad and evacuation/repatriation. Trip cancellation coverage is strongly recommended.

What if I get sick or injured before or during the retreat? There are no exceptions to the refund and cancellation policy, so please do consider purchasing insurance to cover such unfortunate events. Travel medical insurance is required to provide primary coverage while you are here. Grace and venue/partner staff can assist in coordinating local medical care, but costs are participants’ full responsibility.

What if weather disrupts an excursion? We’ll substitute with equally enjoyable and compelling experiences where necessary due to weather or other disruptions. Safety is our utmost priority. Note that, given the caprice of island weather, changes to the schedule are to be expected—and constitute much of the unique Menorcan experience!
